Dr. Sands will be joined by his friend and colleague Dr. Scott Miller. Both Dr. Miller and Dr. Sands completed their fellowships in hip and knee reconstruction at The Florida Orthopedic Institute.

It has been a long time goal and dream of Dr. Sands to put together a talented team dedicated to providing an improved life through increased mobility to people in less fortunate areas of the world.

In 2024, the team completed their first mission with Operation International, performing 35 total knee replacements on 32 patients in Bhutan in just one week.
